Traffic Avoidance
Optimization of route guidance can be obtained in a variety of ways. Optimise your route according to your own preferences. If you change the settings, please close the application and start again.
The settings menu consists of the tabs: Phone, Route, Comm and Map. In order to optimise for traffic information: Select Options > Settings > Route in your Way Finder Navigator: If you want Way Finder to calculate the quickest route, optimise your route for TIME. If you want Way Finder to calculate the shortest route, select DISTANCE. If you want Way Finder to adapt the route to traffic disturbances, select TRAFFIC INFO. It is only possible to optimise for traffic information if you have a valid subscription for this service.
If you choose to optimise for traffic information a detour symbol will be displayed when you are leaving the normal route due to the present traffic conditions and you will reach your destination smoothly. You can easily update your current route with updated traffic information by recalculating the route. Press the options key on your handset and then press reroute.
